Guest Reviews & Ratings
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were nice and clean, providing a comfortable and quiet environment. The service was friendly, and the location was perfect for my overnight stay. The dining experience was okay, and the facilities were satisfactory.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were not very 'original,' smaller than expected, and quite dark, but the perks of daily cocktail coupons, breakfast, and lounge access on the 29th floor were nice. The service was good overall, although access to certain areas was a bit inconvenient. The location was excellent for exploring the city, but the ongoing renovation affected cleanliness. The dining options were delicious but catered mainly to federal government employees, missing free breakfast like other hotels. Facilities were adequate for my stay.
I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the rooms, even though I wasn't expecting it. They had all the necessary facilities, which was great. However, the rooms are smaller compared to most hotels. The service was fabulous, with very friendly and helpful staff. The location is very central, just 19 minutes from the airport, but unfortunately not perfect due to safety concerns. The dining experience was of high quality and worth the money. Overall, a mixed experience with some great highlights and a few drawbacks.
Even though I was at a hockey tournament and not in the room much, the hotel was open 24 hours and the rooms didn't feel like a low-grade room; they were very nice and cozy. The staff were helpful and friendly, knowing exactly what they were doing, and were eager to assist us from the moment we parked to when we checked in and even validated parking. The location didn't require us to drive to the suburbs, making it perfect for us as pedestrians to explore the local sites. However, it felt a bit empty and sketchy around 8 p.m., with no after-hours control. The dining was overpriced, tasting like it came from a wholesale food distributor and terribly overcooked; it would cost as much as the room for a family of five. Despite these shortcomings, the hotel provided a beautiful view of Winnipeg, which is over 2 hours away, and had amenities like a Close to MTS, Starbucks in the lobby, and easy parking.
My stay at the hotel was a bit above my budget due to additional costs like hotel taxes and parking fees, but the room on the 23rd floor was spotlessly clean. However, it wasn't made up when we preferred, which was a downside for me.
The hotel is situated in the heart of downtown, just a block away from the Bell MTS Center, making it convenient for exploring the area. The rooms are spacious and offer a comfortable stay for longer trips, though some noise issues near the elevator could be bothersome. Service at the Radisson Downtown Winnipeg was helpful and attentive, yet some billing errors were encountered during my stay. The location is vibrant but also attracts a number of homeless individuals, giving a mixed impression. The dining experience featured a selection of tasty breakfast options, but the overall pricing may not suit everyone's budget. The hotel's facilities are decent, with notable features like valet parking and commercial services available.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious, modern, and had an entire wall of windows offering a great view of the city. They even provided luxurious amenities like a bathrobe and slippers, Rituals brand toiletries, and stemmed wine glasses, plus a daily newspaper and turndown service. However, there was an issue with bed bugs that affected my experience.
